High Melting Point (HMP) Solder Training - Lead/Lead-Free
The HMP hand soldering certification training is a (1-3) day course of Instruction. The course covers an in-depth review of HMP soldering fundamentals, proper soldering methods, equipment care, ESD, safety and general requirement for soldering electronic assemblies.
This hands-on course is designed for those who have previous soldering experience. HMP soldering requires soldering temperatures to be higher than normal Sn/ Pb or even standard lead-free temperatures. This requires a much greater need for precise work by the solder technician. This course covers the need for greater attention to soldering times, temperature and equipment care, required to ensure acceptable solder connections.
Verion Training offers five standard modules and two Rework Modules that support a combination of hands on application process for the Manufacturing/ Assembly industry. An optional practical exam is also available. A Verion Training Certification will be issued upon successful completion of the course
