Hand Solder Training - Lead/Lead-Free
Course Description
The Hand Soldering training is a (1-3) day course of Instruction. This course introduces the fundamentals of soldering, the knowledge and hands-on training necessary to master the basic techniques of soldering for electronic assemblies. The program is 25% lecture and discussion and 75% hands on application which concentrates on enhancing the student’s knowledge as well as improving their soldering and inspection skills. Customize this course by selecting the modules that meet your training requirements for soldering, inspection and rework.
Verion Training offers five standard modules and two Rework Modules that support a combination of hands on application process for the Manufacturing/ Assembly industry. An optional practical exam is also available.

Prerequisites/ Who Should Become Certified
Module 1: Soldering Principles is the prerequisite for all additional modules. This course is designed for individuals with little or no experience. Anyone involved in the assembly of electronics, engineers, technicians, and electronic assemblers with limited hand soldering experience or those who want to improve their knowledge and raise their standard skill level.
